Either you lead or follow and Chinese manufacturing houses have been chasing Apple’s designs for years. The iPad is just their latest victim. You can’t blame them, really. It’s the hottest device since the rotary phone.
A steady stream of China iPad Clone has been flowed into market for months since iPad was released. Here is Top 7 China iPad beginning with three well-powered iPad knockoffs.
ePad – A “high-end” iPad clone: Android 2.1, 1Ghz ARM Cortex-A8 CPU, 512MB of RAM, and a 10-inch display. You would think all that tech would be enough to grant the clone a proper name right?
M1touch – Take the iPhone, replace the silver styling with white and add a slide-out keyboard that can double as a stand, then this China iPad was born. Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, 2GB DDR2 RAM, Wi-Fi + 3G network connectivity and it runs Windows 7 Ultimate. Not too shabby.

LifePad – Make no mistake, while the LifePad might not have the stereotypical iPad casing, it’s still an iPad clone. But at least there’s some higher-end hardware powering the device: 1Ghz Freescale CPU, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, 3G modem, and Android 2.1. Not bad, eh?
iPed – The iPed is the first China iPad to hit the scene. It packs the usual Android build into a casing that looks a lot like the real thing. It even ships in a box that’s nearly a photocopy of the iPad’s retail box besides the iPod label is replaced with iPed. Sneaky.
inPad – With the design inspired by iPad, the InPad is obviously an iPad clone. Well, its power is far different from iPad, just with Android 2.0 build, a 600MHz processor, 128MB DDR2 memory, 2GB flash storage and two USB2.0 interface.
Meizu Mbook – Meizu is an excellent iDevice follower. When the original iPhone was launched, they rolled out a named M8 music phone and got very successful return in China market. And now they went all out again for their iPad clone. The Mbook features 8.4-inch screen, an unheard 1.5GHz processor, Wi-Fi + 3G Internet connectivity and GPS function. Anyway, its casing looks obviously like the iPad.
APad – A rough and unshaped China iPad? Surely. While due to its low price, this tablet PC is sold by dozens in China and other Asian markets. It comes with 7-inch touch screen, ARM11 800MHz processor and built-in 2GB of NAND flash. You can run WinCE 6.0 operating system on the tablet and surf the Internet, but WITHOUT more expectation.
